I have been a big fan of open world games ever since I got into gaming.Open world game or you may call it "Free roaming" games designed where a player can roam around the vast virtual world without any barriers giving you many ways to reach your objectives. Some open world games allows you to create your own character and lets you choose your characters destiny. These types of game makes you feel that you are in control of everything that happens into the game.

"Niko Bellic" of GTA IV

Niko Bellic is the main playable character of GTA IV, born 1978 in Yugoslavia, he worked as a soldier in the Yugoslav Wars during adolescence; as a young man he worked as a smuggler across the Adriatic Sea. In 2008, he moved to Liberty City to get rich with his cousin Roman, but instead ended up involved in a life of crime.

"Cole Phelps" of L.A. Noire

Cole Phelps is the main character of L.A. Noire. Born 1920, Phelps is a former officer in the United States Marine Corps, who later returned from the war as a hero, joining the Los Angeles Police Department. Soon after, he quickly rose through the ranks and became a Detective. He died on
September 30, 1947 at age 27 while helping his friends Elsa and Kelso out the tunnel with the aid of Biggs, Phelps was last to get out. Upon seeing a rushing wave of water coming towards him, Phelps realized that he was out of reach and time to get out. Phelps simply uttered a final goodbye to his friends before being killed by the violent torrent of water.
